SkyFire Flash Web Browser [Download]

Apple has removed Skyfire Flash Web Browser from the App Store. Skyfire web browser for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been pulled from the App Store due to server constraints and we couldn't help but post its download links. The app works as a Flash player for iDevices by converting Flash content into HTML5 format.

SkyFire Released And Pulled From App Store

Earlier we told you that SkyFire would be released within the next few days, and it turns out that SkyFire actually was released this morning at around 11 AM Pacific Time. Apple had nothing to do with it this time, the company pulled SkyFire because their servers could not handle the amount of traffic that was coming. SkyFire works by directly converting Flash Content to HTML5, which is a supported format by almost all mobile devices. This converting process consumes a lot of bandwidth; much more than the Skyfire devs  expected.

SkyFire, which will be available on Thursday in the App Store is the first app of its kind to be approved by Apple.

Enable Flash On Your iDevice With SmokeScreen

With a new open source project called SmokeScreen, developers will soon have the ability to convert flash elements directly to a supported mobile format called HTML5.
