Unsecured Call : First iOS 5 Bug Found


When Apple released iOS 5 at WWDC 2011, no bug or crashes were found in iOS 5. But now Musclenerd, the hacker who had tethered jailbroken the iOS 5 has found the first bug in iOS 5 firmware- Unsecured Call. After downloading iOS 5 while MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team was experimenting his iPhone running iOS 5, he spotted new warning on iOS 5 when making an unsecured call. i0n1c's Untethered Jailbreak Exploit Patched In iOS 5


i0n1c tweeted yesterday that the untethered exploit used in iOS 4.3.x jailbreaks is now dead in the first beta of iOS 5. When Apple released iOS 5 at WWDC 2011, after a couple of hours Musclenerd confirmed the tethered jailbreak of iOS 5. But now iOS hacker Stephen Essar aka @i0n1c, the developer of the untethered exploit for iOS 4.3, who jailbroke iOS 4.3 untethered, has confirmed that Apple has fixed his untethered exploit of iOS 4.3 in iOS 5 beta 1.


iTunes 10.3.1 Released, Fixes Syncing Issues [Download]


Yesterday Apple released iTunes 10.3 which brought iCloud related features to iTunes such as automatic downloads and access to previously purchased content such as app,music, and iBooks. But now Apple has released an update iTunes 10.3.1 to iTunes. 10.3. There is no specific changelog with this update. This update merely offers the same information as found with the original iTunes 10.3 release. There are no actual words what minor bugs have been fixed.

iOS 5 Jailbroken Using Geohot's Limerain Exploit


iOS 5 has been jailbroken. MuscleNerd, iPhone Dev Team member posted on his Twitter handle that iOS 5 jailbreak using Geohot's Limerain exploit has been successfully ported to the iPod touch 4G but is tethered which means that you need to connect to your computer on every reboot. This means that iOS 5 is still susceptible to Limerain's exploit and Apple hasn't even patched it even after 9 months.

iOS 5 Jailbreak Wont Be Affected By Over-The-Air Updates, Says The iPhone Dev-Team MuscleNerd, a member of the iPhone Dev-Team, has just tweeted on his Twitter handle that iOS 5′s new automatic over-the-air (OTA) updates shouldn’t make jailbreaking harder. Since automatic over-the-air updates, one of the flagship features of iOS 5, could possibly break jailbreaks whenever a new version of the firmware is released, essentially making a stable jailbreak useless. However, a reliable jailbreak can also disable automatic updating feature.

Steve Jobs announced a minor upgrade to iTunes at WWDC 2011, iTunes 10.3. Those with iDevices can AirPlay the video to an Apple TV for watching the keynote video. he quality of the video us better on the iPad (and using AirPlay) than when watching on a Mac. Strange indeed. By using iFaith you will have the ability to dump SHSH blobs directly onto your iDevice. iFaith works with the iDevices supported by limerain jailbreak exploit like iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, the iPad 1G and Apple TV 2G. iPad 2 is not supported. If you are not aware, an SHSH Blob is what Apple uses to verify the iOS version you are running.

i0n1c Previews iPad 2 Jailbreak Codenamed "elevat0r"


As we told you, i0n1c had a iPad 2 jailbreak exploit ready and even tweeted to demand money in exchange for the exploit. As @Veeence, a jailbreak news aggregator tweeted that i0n1c has codenamed the iPad 2 jailbreak- “elevator“. Then i0n1c denied the fact that he had an iPad 2 jailbreak. Today i0n1c tweeted about his new website elevat0r.com. It looks like no more predictions about the most highly anticipated jailbreak because it might just be around soon.


iH8sn0w Releases iFaith SHSH Blob Dumping Tool [Download]

TweakWeek : A New Cydia Tweak Everyday For 7 Days


Ryan Petrich, a well known jailbreak tweak developer, has recently tweeted a new initiative called TweakWeek. TweakWeek will be an ongoing initiative for Cydia developers to take part in. Once a day, for a week, a new tweak will be released into Ryan Petrich’s beta repository. Working iPad 2 Jailbreak Is Just 3 Week Away


Well, it looks like we have some great news here about the iPad 2 jailbreak here. A new tweet from Veeence, a jailbreak news aggregator who claims that a fully working iPad 2 jailbreak tool is just 3 weeks away. Earlier, we told you that the iPad 2 jailbreak will not be called greenpoison. From the tweet, @P0sixninja seems told @Veeence about the released date. It looks like no more predictions. The real ETA may be less or more than that rough ETA.

PhoneItiPad : Unlock Call, SMS,Facetime Using iPad 3G


The team behind FaceIt3GS, iPhoneIslam is back with a bang, bringing Call and SMS Text messages support for iPad 3G with the Cydia hack PhoneItiPad. In the video, this jailbreak tweak will soon unlock calling and SMS messages on your iPad. iPad 3G by itself allows internet connection on SIM but it doesn’t allow Call and SMS support. But it’s not the case anymore now iPhoneIslam has successfully hacked iPad 3G and enabled Call, SMS Text message and FaceTime on iPad 3G with the Cydia tweak- PhoneItiPad.

AndroidLoader For iOS Released In Cydia


Only a couple of days ago we showed you a quick and nice preview of the AndroidLoader tweak, and just as promised the tweak was released 48 hours later. In case you missed our last post describing AndroidLoader – AndroidLoader will allow you to view all your apps on a single page with a tap or slide gesture like Android OS. greenpoison RC6.2 Won't Jailbreak iPad 2 [Update]


Just a quick heads up! An interesting piece of news is coming straight from the Chronic Dev Team member p0sixninja's Twitter handle regarding the iPad 2 jailbreak tool and its progress.
