Cydia 1.1 Coming In A Few Hours !

This is just a quick heads-up : Cydia 1.1 will be released in a few hours or so. The info comes from developer of Celeste announcing today via twitter that the Cydia will release today, stating that day there will be another big issue in relation to "something that we use ALL of us"... what could that be? This is, in fact, Cydia as it is used by all of us. Take a look at the tweet below.

Well it turns out that the blocking of Cydia’s servers by UK network. Three may have a simple solution after all. Because the network blocked Cydia as part of the ‘Adult Content’ filtration they do automatically on porn and pirate software sites. Cydia will not be able to be load if you are trying to run Cydia over a 3G network in UK or China. Of course this is going to be dependent on the carrier you are using, but this really came as a surprise to me. Installous 4.2 Released With Bug Fixes

A few necessary updates to Installous 4 have been made which includes some minor bug fixes like not being able to download from Fileape and Mediafire. iOS 3.x firmware users may recall that earlier this week, it was very difficult to upgrade to Installous 4.1. While those issues have been fixed, there have also been a few compatibility issues with Installous 4.1. Hackulous has released out another update for you, Installous 4.2, which should not have these problems. Please report any other crashes so that we can fix them.

New “Manage Account” Feature In Cydia

If you’ve opened up Cydia today, you would have noticed a new section on the home page called “Manage Account”. If you’ve ever purchased any app in Cydia, you would have had to log in with your Facebook or Google account, and then pay with PayPal or Amazon. Cydia keeps track of these purchases, and now can keep track of your purchases, as well.
