The video is leaked by Vietnamese website Tinhte who claimed the device they hold is official white iPhone 4 from Apple with latest iOS 5 running which nobody has ever even glanced at it yet. iPhone Dev Team has just rolled out redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 for both Windows and Mac that supports untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4,3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G and iPad 1G. This jailbreak uses i0n1c’s untether exploit on iOS 4.3.2′s kernel. If your iPhone is already running ultrasnow carrier unlock, STAY AWAY from redsnow as it updates your baseband to the latest version, making it impossible (for now) to unlock. If you are experiencing problems updating to iOS 4.3.2 through Saurik’s server,  remove the gs.apple.com entry in your hosts file in order to restore directly to Apple’s servers.

Comex looked into the untethered iOS 4.3.1 exploit and concluded that it was not patched by Apple in the iOS 4.3.2 firmware update. As Comex was not the actual hacker who developed the untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak exploit we also told you we would need to wait for the official word from i0n1c on whether or not this was accurate. Today i0n1c indeed tweeted that his untethered iOS 4.3.1 exploit is still working on the iOS 4.3.2 firmware and he will need to simply update the binaries to be compatible with the iOS 4.3.2 firmware, and he will pass on the updated jailbreak exploit over to the Dev Team so they can integrate them into redsnow and the Pwnagetool jailbreak tools.
