Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2 Firmware [Download]

Apple just released iOS 4.3.2 firmware for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPod touch 4G, 3G. As reported earlier, iOS 4.3.2 fixes FaceTime calls and iPad WiFi + 3G connectivity issues. The build number is 8H7 for the majority of devices, with the CDMA iPad 2 tagged with Build 8H8. This time CDMA iPhone 4 gets iOS 4.2.7 build 8E303. iPhone unlockers and jailbreakers must stay away from updating their iDevices to iOS 4.3.2, till we hear some words from the jailbreak community. Most likely iOS 4.3.1 untethered Jailbreak exploits have been patched in this update. Make sure you have your iOS 4.3.1 SHSH blobs saved.

Are you waiting for an iPad 2 untethered jailbreak? If you are, then your wait will be over soon as posixninja, a member of Chronic Dev Team tweeted significant progress has been made on the iPad 2 jailbreak. Just like most tweets from Dev Team members, people usually misinterpret them, and thus posixninja has quickly followed up tweeting there is obviously no ETA (estimated time of arrival) on the iPad 2 untethered jailbreak. The cone effect is not stunning in the video but is already a small example of how 3D can be used on the iPhone, without the use of 3D glasses. Now, 3D is becoming the latest leap. As technology advances every day, the popular addition of glasses-free 3D has seemingly arrived at the scene. If you remember, 3D has been done before on iDevices. This is just a quick heads-up to let you know that Installous was just updated to version 4.4.1. This is not a major Installous update, however it does separate translations into an independent package. For those of you who use Installous 4.4.1 in another language, other than english, this will be an easy way for you to manage your translations. In case you are not aware, Installous is an application which allows users to download AppStore apps for free, in hopes that if you like the application you will purchase it after.

Many websites promises to permanently unlock your iPhone using this method but the price is almost thrice as compared to Gevey SIM ranging between $150 to $200. Sherif Hashim Unlocks His iPhone 4 Using Gevey SIM !

Sherif Hashim has just announced via twitter that he used Gevey SIM to unlock his iPhone 4. On his Twitter account, he tweeted that he had recently made use of the Gevey SIM interposer instead of ultrasnow unlock tool to unlock his iPhone 4. After using it, Sherif Hashim said that he found it much more better than the previous ultrasnow unlock he had used. So now many users might be thinking that if he used Gevey SIM to unlock his iPhone 4, then we should forget about ultrasnow and use Gevey SIM or Rebel SIM card interposers. iOS 4.x Virus Spreading All Over The Web [Warning]

A whole new virus seems to be spreading like forest fire all over the web. This effects all iDevices - iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch running iOS 4.x. The distribution of the destructive virus happens via an app from internet pages about fake jailbreak presentation called “UNLOCK NOW FREE”. Don't open this page from your iDevice, if you do so, however, you’ll see -10-15 seconds of an animation followed by the text "Download Unlock 2 Now Free". iOS 4.3.2 To Fix Verizon iPad 2, Facetime Issues

BGR has got hands on the upcoming update to iOS 4.3 - iOS 4.3.2. BGR managed to obtain an early copy of the iOS 4.3.2 update and claim it is due in the next week. BGR sources said iOS 4.3.2 will fix 3G connection issues and problems with Verizon iPad 2. Additionally, the new iOS 4.3.2 update is said to contain a fix for FaceTime along with security fixes for things like WebKit vulnerabilities and other minor changes.

ultrasnow version 1.2.1 was released only moments ago, and for those of you who would like assistance while using it, we have put together a detailed how to guide. In this guide you will learn how to unlock your iPhone 4,3GS running iOS 4.3.1. Unfortunately, unlocking is not as easy as just installing ultrasnow. This is because ultrasnow 1.2.1 only supports several older baseband version that you will need to check, (Go into Settings > General > About) and see if you have a supported baseband version by comparing your version number to the list below.

This is just a quick heads-up. It looks like the Dev Team has just pushed ultrasnow 1.2.1 unlock for iOS 4.3.1 out to the public. In fact, this isn’t a new unlock, it just allows those who are already unlocked to use iOS 4.3.1. It also fixes the signal bar issue for those who aren’t using the unlock but retain an older baseband intentionally. As we mentioned, ultrasnow 1.2.1 does not add unlock support for any new baseband versions, it was updated simply so users on the iOS 4.3.1 firmware can use ultrasnow unlock to maintain their current unlock.
