ultrasnow version 1.2.1 was released only moments ago, and for those of you who would like assistance while using it, we have put together a detailed how to guide. In this guide you will learn how to unlock your iPhone 4,3GS running iOS 4.3.1. Unfortunately, unlocking is not as easy as just installing ultrasnow. This is because ultrasnow 1.2.1 only supports several older baseband version that you will need to check, (Go into Settings > General > About)  and see if you have a supported baseband version by comparing your version number to the list below.



ultrasnow 1.2.1 supports basebands :

* iPhone 4 : 01.59.00
* iPhone 3GS : 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00


Note : You will need to restart your iPhone after installing ultrasnow 1.2.1, and then your iPhone will reboot in an unlocked state. T-Mobile users in the USA also should also disable 3G mode in Settings > General > Network after installing ultrasnow 1.2.1 unlock (while you do the first reboot).



Unlock iPhone 4,3GS On iOS 4.3.1 Using ultrasnow 1.2.1 [How To] :

1) Firstly, jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 4.3.1 firmware using redsnow 0.9.6 rc12 or Pwnage tool here. If you are already jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1 firmware please skip to step 2.

2) When you have jailbroken iOS 4.3.1, launch Cydia from your Springboard.

3) Launch Cydia > Manage > Sources





4) If ultrasnow repo is not present, press Edit > Add > Enter http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ as the source url and press the Add Source button.



5) Select repo666.ultrasn0w.com from the list of user entered sources.



6) Select ultrasnow from the list of packages.



7) Select ultrasnow > Install > Confirm





8) After installation completes successfully, press the Restart Springboard button.



You should now be able to insert the SIM of your choice
