HOW TO: SPIRIT JAILBREAK
            UNTETHERED JAILBREAK FOR ANY MODEL/GEN IPOD TOUCH OR IPHONE.

                                          COMPATIBLE DEVICES:


Any model / generation iPod touch or iPhone.


[ That's the 1G, 2G, or 3G iPOD touch as well as the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, or iPhone 3GS. ]
SUPPORTED FIRMWARES (FW):

Firmware 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 


HOW TO JAILBREAK WITH SPIRIT:

Step 1:
Download the Spirit Jailbreak for Windows PC or Mac. Save it to your desktop to save time.

"Spirit" for Mac OS X:

Step 2:* This step applies to Mac OS X users only.
Extract Spirit.app.zip.
Step 3:
Open up Spirit.exe (PC) or Spirit.app (Mac) that you just downloaded and you will see this:

Windows:


Mac:


Step 4:
Connect your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad to your Mac or PC using the Sync Cable. "Please connect device" will be replaced with your device and the firmware that it is running. For example, iPod touch 3G (3.1.3).

Step 5:Click on Jailbreak.



Step 6:
Your device will reboot and will begin to jailbreak. You will see a progress/loading bar showing you how much progress has been made. This process should take less than a few minutes (max 5 minutes).
**YOUR MUSIC, APPLICATIONS, OTHER CONTENT, OR SETTINGS WILL NOT BE ERASED

Step 7:

Your device is now jailbroken! Congratulations! Look for the Cydia icon!
