Is Geohot Working On Rubyra1n Jailbreak ?

Geohot's next jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch might be called Rubyra1n. The domain Rubyra1n.com is registered by Geohot on 27th March 2010. Rubyra1n jailbreak might bring untethered hacks for iOS 4.2.1 which is currently still tethered on new iDevices.

The iPhone Dev Team members, Saurik and Chpwn, are up to a final version of Cydia that will support iOS 4.2. According to a tweet by MuscleNerd, the revamped Cydia app is almost ready. Apple has already rolled out iOS 4.2 GM and iPhone Dev Team may delay the release of Cydia app until iOS 4.2 public version is released.

Greenpois0n Jailbreak Delayed Due To Limerain

Geohot's Limerain was released on Sunday creating a stir in the whole jailbreak community. It uses a different exploit from Chronic Dev-Team's SHAtter, releasing Greenpois0n today would have burned those 2 exploits away to Apple to patch in an update. The Chronic Dev-Team have postponed the release of Greenpois0n in order to include the new exploit found by Geohot.
