We have got some really exciting news from Pod2G. He has tweeted that he has found another untethered exploit for your iDevice. We do not have all the details yet, but this means that the Dev Team now has access to quite a few exploits, to hopefully jailbreak (untethered) future firmware files in a timely manner. The Dev Team now  have the Jailbreak Monte exploit, GreenPois0n exploit and now they have another exploit from Pod2G. This hopefully means that once the iOS 4.3 firmware is jailbroken, it will be an untethered jailbreak if the Dev Team can get around ASLR.

As you can clearly see this new untethered exploit, discovered by Pod2G will sure come in handy in future jailbreaks. However, as you may have seen via Pod2G’s tweets, is that right now this is just a vulnerability. Meaning that the Dev Team will still need to further look into this vulnerability. So, it is not currently a full blown exploit.

Regardless this vaundrability looks promising, and Pod2G has even uploaded a screenshot to prove that this is real.

Now that we have a lot of untethered exploits around in the wild, it would be nice to see something released soon. Hopefully we will see an official untethered jailbreak for the iOS 4.2.1 firmware very soon! What are you thoughts on another new untethered vulnerability being found ?
