Comex is confirming that the userland exploit is working but will take some work to package it into a working jailbreak tool. Interestingly, another hacker Stefan Esser (aka, i0n1c), has already declared  that he will release his untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch before next weekend. We will update you as we get more information about it.
