3D is the latest rage amongst iPhone Devs for now, but something similar is already in the App Store for over a year and is called iDesktopVR. The cone effect is not stunning in the video but is already a small example of how 3D can be used on the iPhone, without the use of 3D glasses. Now, 3D is becoming the latest leap. As technology advances every day, the popular addition of glasses-free 3D has seemingly arrived at the scene. If you remember, 3D has been done before on iDevices. Cydia tweaks such as 3DBoard and DeepEnd gave many glimmering hope of this 3D graphical achievement.

This 3D effect without glasses is possible do to the fact that the accelerometer in the device manipulates graphics based on the users movements. This works, but leaves many disappointed and let down. However, there seems to be another possibility that can make 3D completely functional on your iPhone.

As you can see, this very well may be the way of the future with 3D on upcoming devices. I know I can speak for many when I say, this is awesome. Be sure to keep an eye on this. Do you think this will be another bust, or an actual step in 3D graphics ?
