iOS hacker Stefan Esser a.k.a @i0n1c has just announced via his Twitter handle  that he has no iPad 2 jailbreak and reports on the internet claiming that he may be working on an iPad 2 jailbreak are not legit. It is still not clear from the tweet that Stefan Esser, the man whose untethered jailbreak exploit has not only helped to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 untethered, but has also helped to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 as well as jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered, is not working on an iPad 2 jailbreak.




Earlier this month, a fake iPad 2 jailbreak started making the rounds on the internet. However, it was not real and was just a prank as confirmed by its developer d0nfyxn.

However, those iPad 2 owners are waiting for the iPad 2 jailbreak, can rejoice as iPhone hacker Geohot is now free from his lawsuit against Sony and has accepted posixninja's challenge to dump the A5 iPad 2 bootrom faster than he does. Now, Geohot and posixninja are now racing against the clock, and each other, to prepare the iPad 2 jailbreak.
