NowStream is a new iPhone app that will directly stream media files from internet to the iPhone without jailbreaking. There will be no need to wait for downloading the torrent file, converting or syncing, all you have to do is simply copy the link of the movie and paste it in Nowstream, which will stream the video to your iDevice directly without any hassles. The web app comes out of the recent TechCrunch Hakathon in New York and is developed by Sohail Prasad. NowStream, the uses the iPhone’s own Mobile Safari browser.





What’s new in NowStream ? 

It allows users to download torrents right on the iPhone. Torrents can be opened and streamed, even while they’re still being downloaded. This means, If you’re using a legally obtained torrent containing a copyright-free video, it’s actually possible to watch a video even while it continues to download – effectively allowing the streaming of video within a torrent.



The app is still in beta stages and will be available soon, as of now, you can register yourself to NowStream website to get updated with the latest news about the app and it’s release.
