i0n1c tweeted yesterday that the untethered exploit used in iOS 4.3.x jailbreaks is now dead in the first beta of iOS 5. When Apple released iOS 5 at WWDC 2011, after a couple of hours Musclenerd confirmed the tethered jailbreak of iOS 5. But now iOS hacker Stephen Essar aka @i0n1c, the developer of the untethered exploit for iOS 4.3, who jailbroke iOS 4.3 untethered, has confirmed that Apple has fixed his untethered exploit of iOS 4.3 in iOS 5 beta 1.




This means another untethered exploit will need to be developed to take the iOS 5 jailbreak out of a tethered state. You can take a look at i0n1c’s tweet below:..
