Chronic Dev-Team  are back with a bang and this time they are up to creating a jailbreak for all iDevices running the iOS 4.1 firmware. Nevertheless they have come back with some serious potential as they introduce the SHAtter exploit.

With the new iOS 4.1 firmware around the corner we would like to warn you that  iOS 4.1 firmware comes with many updates and an updated baseband. As long as you have saved your SHSH blobs for iOS 4.0.1 or iOS 4.0.2 then you are safe. You should know that downgrading will not downgrade your baseband.

Thursday you will be able to purchase the iPod Touch 4G, iPod Nano, and the new iPod Shuffle. Apple had started taking pre-orders for the new iPod Touch from September 1st. Some users are reporting that they have started receiving shipment notifications, which have delivery date as Thursday, September 9th, while for other users it's on next Tuesday, September 14th.

Today the Dev-Team have notified us that they won't be releasing an official jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2 on iPhone, iPod Touch or iOS 3.2.2 on iPad. Previously, JailbreakMe.com used an exploit in Safari. But, unfortunately Apple released the iOS 4.0.2 firmware to fix this exploit and now Jailbreakme.com is of no use to iDevices running the iOS 4.0.2 firmware.

Netflix has been finally released to support both the iPod Touch and iPhone. It is now available at the App Store for free.Netflix for iPhone and iPod Touch works well over Wi-Fi as well as over 3G.
With the Netflix app you can directly stream video from Netflix with a  subscription starting at $ 8.99 per month.

You need to be a Netflix member to use the app to watch movies and TV shows on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Apple has just released updates which fix the security loophole in Mobile Safari,that was successfully exploited by JailbreakMe 2.0-the web-based method to jailbreak iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.It also fixes the PDF exploit that hackers used to gain remote control over an iDevice.

According to a Brazilian resource called Mac Magazine, Apple may unveil its iPod Touch 4,probably the "Next-Gen iPod Touch",  on the event that will take place either on 16 or  17 of August.But,traditionally, Apple holds this event in September.

The resource reveals that the new iPod touch will be announced and it may have front and rear(with flash) facing cameras and a gyroscope.

Apple has banned JailBreakMe.com on every iDevice at Apple Stores through DNS forwarding to www.Apple.com so as not to let anyone jailbreak their iDevice.

Clearly,the pics above show a hole above the display that is most likely to be used for camera. These pics were sent by an unknown person,probably an iPhone parts supplier.

Previously, some rumors surfaced that reported about the presence of a camera on the back of the Next-Gen iPod touch. So, most likely, this next-gen iDevice will have two cameras to support FaceTime as in the iPhone 4G.Apple did wanted to build camera in their last iPod touch an year ago, but due to some technical issues it was called off.

Moreover, FaceTime support in iPod touch will be not be a surprise as Steve Jobs clearly stated in the WWDC 2010 that Apple will ship millions of iDevices compatible with FaceTime this year.

Cydia is a storehouse of some greatest apps for iDevices and it is still the leader in that oomph factor.Today a new app called InfiniFolders was released which will let you add more than 12 icons into your iOS4 folders,thus breaking the 12 app barrier set by apple on iOS. This is why Infini Folders is here to lift this restriction and allow you to have unlimited apps placed in an iOS4 folder.
