According to a Brazilian resource called Mac Magazine, Apple may unveil its iPod Touch 4,probably the "Next-Gen iPod Touch",  on the event that will take place either on 16 or  17 of August.But,traditionally, Apple holds this event in September.

The resource reveals that the new iPod touch will be announced and it may have front and rear(with flash) facing cameras and a gyroscope.

Apple may also be introducing new versions of some of its well-known apps. According to another report,the 64-bit versions of iPhoto, iWeb GarageBand will also be released.

We are also not pretty sure that if this event will also focus on other iPod models other  than iPod Touch such as iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle.

According to a relevant Apple source, the event could be scheduled anytime between 14-16th of August.
