The new "Try Before You Buy" section has only selected apps whose full version can be bought from the App Store.As of now,this new section only contains freemium, lite and ad-supported apps that have  free and paid versions.Currently there are 98 apps of this kind.

Actually it is targeted towards users who use pirated apps on their iDevices. One of the main reason for the piracy of iPhone apps is that some of the full-version apps can't be tested before buying. This section is probably a great way to stop the use of pirated apps.
