Yesterday we told you that Pod2G found an untethered exploit for your iDevice, and it even appears Geohot has an untethered exploit of his own. MuscleNerd recently tweeted to Pod2G, that he thinks Geohot will be releasing an untethered jailbreak for newer A4 iDevices after February 10th. This could also mean that Geohot will be releasing the rumored RubyRa1n jailbreak tool.






Another thing that seems interesting about Geohot proposed untethered jailbreak, is it is an iBoot level exploit. Thus meaning that it is a lot more useful to the jailbreak community, because it isn’t as easily patched by Apple, compared to a userland exploit.

Hopefully, we should actually see something like this for the iOS 4.3 firmware. Unfortunately as you can see by the tweet above, there isn’t a set day for the release of Geohot's next jailbreak, but it will be in the month of February.
