If you have been paying attention to the whole iPhone community, you would of heard that the Verizon iPhone was supposed to be released sometime this year. Up until now, these rumors have just been… well… pure rumors. There was never any solid evidence that we would see a Verizon iPhone this year, but there were lots of small clues that pointed people to believe so.






Today we have received some solid evidence that something is going on between Verizon and Apaple. You see today, Verizon sent out invitations to numerous members of the press, which included both “regular” gadget bloggers and Apple journalists alike. With invitations sent to numerous iPhone bloggers, this can only mean that this event is going to have something to do with Apple.




Why would Apple let Verizon take control of an Apple related announcement ? Many believers feel that a CDMA iPhone (AKA Verizon iPhone) isn’t “enough” of a reason for Apple to host its own event and that the company will instead let Verizon have all the glory. Whether you believe this or not, something is definitely going to be happening between Apple and Verizon next Tuesday in New York.
