iOS 4.3 public release was expected at 10 AM PT today. However, that seems not to be the case. Now a German blog reports that the Daily’s free subscription, which was supposed to expire today, has been extended to February 28th. Which hints that the iOS 4.3, with new subscription APIs, will be delivered around that time. Macrumor is reporting that the free access to the The Daily has been extended to February 28th, beyond the original two-week trial period. The free trial was extended after the delay in iOS 4.3 public release, which will bring the in-app recurring subscriptions support for The Daily.

Earlier, it was speculated that iOS 4.3 will arrive on February 14th at 10 AM PST, which has already passed. It seems we need to wait around two weeks till iOS 4.3 is fully baked for public release.

Final iOS 4.3 will bring iAd full screen banners, HTTP Live Streaming statistics, support for In-App Subscriptions, ability to stream video to Apple TV2 using AirPlay, and more.
