Unlock iPhone 4,3GS On iOS 4.3.2 Using ultrasnow Fixer [How To]
Wednesday, April 20, 2011 9:39 PM
iOS 4.3.2 firmware was released last week and thanks to i0n1c we already have an untethered iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak. Just like when the Dev Team needed to update ultrasnow for the iOS 4.3.1 firmware, they are going to need to do the same thing for the iOS 4.3.2 firmware. For those of you who have already updated to iOS 4.3.2 firmware only to find that ultrasnow is broken. DJayB6, iOS hacker has created a Cydia package called ultrasnow fixer that he has uploaded to his own Cydia repo. ultrasnow fixer will essentially fix ultrasnow on iOS 4.3.2 firmware
Supported basebands by ultrasnow fixer :
01.59.00
04.26.08
05.11.07
05.12.01
05.13.04
06.15.00
Unsupported basebands by ultrasnow fixer :
02.10.04
03.10.01
04.10.01
05.14.02
05.15.04
05.16.02
Unlock iPhone 4,3GS On iOS 4.3.2 Using ultrasnow fixer [How To] :
1) Untether jailbreak your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.2 using redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 for Windows and Mac below.
Untether Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 Using redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 [How To].
2) If you have already installed ultrasnow please uninstall it now and then reboot your iPhone (Skip to step 3 if you do not have ultrasnow installed). You must do this because once you install ultrasnow fixer, it will automatically install ultrasnow.
3) Once you have uninstalled ultrasnow please add the following repo by launching Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add
http://djayb6.com/
4) Once you add the above repo shown above, find ultrasnow fixer and install it to your iPhone. When you do this please reboot your iPhone and it will be unlocked on the iOS 4.3.2 firmware.
Let us know if this method of unlocking with ultrasnow fixer your iPhone 4,3GS on the iOS 4.3.2 firmware worked in the comments section below.

@Navneet : Your iPhone's baseband version doesn't downgrade even if you downgrade your iOS firmware version. You can wait for the Dev Team to update ultrasnow for it or use gevey or rebel sim interposers or IMEI unlock offered by SuperPaddy.

@Anonymous : You need to uninstall ultrasnow 1.22 and re-install ultrasnow fixer to get it working because ultrasnow fixer itself installs ultrasnow as a dependency with it.
Update : Now, you can also use ultrasnow 1.22 for iOS 4.3.2 as it has been updated by the Dev Team.

@birchy Yep, on a 3GS. I jailbroke with redsnow and tried reinstalling Cydia - still not able to add djayb6 repository.
@Admin@MYP is ultrasnow fixer available via another repository?
