Comex looked into the untethered iOS 4.3.1 exploit and concluded that it was not patched by Apple in the iOS 4.3.2 firmware update. As Comex was not the actual hacker who developed the untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak exploit we also told you we would need to wait for the official word from i0n1c on whether or not this was accurate. Today i0n1c indeed tweeted that his untethered iOS 4.3.1 exploit is still working on the iOS 4.3.2 firmware and he will need to simply update the binaries to be compatible with the iOS 4.3.2 firmware, and he will pass on the updated jailbreak exploit over to the Dev Team so they can integrate them into redsnow and the Pwnagetool jailbreak tools.

From i0n1c’s latest tweets he will not be able to begin work on the iOS 4.3.2 untethered exploit until Sunday. Which should mean, if all goes well, that we can expect the iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak sometime next week. Knowing i0n1c probably next Sunday (April 24th) – SundayIsFunDay.

Take a look at i0n1c’s tweets below…

So, should you wait for it ?

Yes, wait for it as it is worth it. As i0n1c mentioned above that he will develop his full-fledged iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak exploit so we expect to see redsnow 0.9.6 rc13 and new built of Pwnagetool 4.3 to untether jailbreak iOS 4.3.

We will keep you updated about the progress of the iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak. Please stay tuned.
