hi everyone,
I have my iphone 3gs, baseband * 05.13.04 jailbreaked and unlocked, currently working fine with ios 4.01
If i install ios 4.3.3, do I need to have my iphone jailbreaked again with most recent version of redsnow or all i need is simply install the ios 4.3.3 and update ultrasnow 1.2.3 in cydia to have it working.
a bit confused on how about to do the upgrade, please advise.
Thank you all for your time! N

If you rely on an iPhone 3GS carrier unlock, you need to jailbreak your iPhone and preserve your current unlockable baseband using snowbreeze (for Mac) or PwnageTool (for Windows). Then unlock using ultrasnow 1.2.3. All the best !

hi,
so sorry .. i don't exactly understand what you are telling me. to further explain myself, currently I have my 3gs unlocked by using jailbreakme so I can use with tmobile carrier. It is also jailbreaked. My current ios is 4.0.1 and my baseband is 05.13.04
After reading on this site, what i understand is in order for my 3gs iphone to be working with the ios 4.3.3, I need to unlocked again redsnow, then go use ultrasnow 1.2.3 to jailbreak the phone again.
Do i need to jailbreak my iPhone on 6.15.00 basebands? this is what i am a bit confused on.
again, thank you for your time! N

Sorry for the late reply,
but what you need to do is preserve your baseband so as to unlock using ultrasnow. So you need to use Pwnagetool for Mac or snowbreeze for Windows and don't need to use redsnow as it does not preserve your baseband.
If you still have any problems, feel free to comment here

@Natalie: This should have worked out for you. Now the only solution to this problem is to rejailbreak as some errors might have occured during the jailbreak process. For fixing iTunes errors you have to use iReb, that's the only solution and after that Cydia will work fine. Good Luck!
