iOS 4.3.3 was released couple of hours ago, Comex confirmed that iOS 4.3.3 can be jailbreak tethered with i0n1c's exploit, now Dinod7, entrepreneur in iDevices jailbreak, has just performed a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.3 and it has been successful. The current version of redsnow 0.9.6 is a tethered jailbreak only, which means that you will have to boot your iDevice in tethered state on every reboot. Follow the redsnow jailbreak guide given below.





Note : Those of you who rely on a carrier unlock must STAY AWAY from redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 and stock iOS 4.3.3 firmware until ultrasnow fixer or ultrasnow update is released.

redsnow supports the following iDevices on iOS 4.3.3 :

* iPhone 3GS
* iPhone 4G
* iPhone 4
* iPod Touch 3G
* iPod Touch 4G
* iPad 1G

Requirements :

* Download iTunes 10.2.2 
* Download stock iOS 4.3.2 , iOS 4.3.3
* Download redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 (Windows) (Mac)

Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Using redsnow 0.9.6 rc14 Tethered [How To] :

1) Connect your iDevice to Mac or Windows using the USB cable.

2) Download both iOS 4.3.2 and iOS 4.3.3. Update your iDevice to iOS 4.3.3 firmware using the IPSW file you just downloaded via iTunes 10.2.2.


3) Start redsnow and point it to the official iOS 4.3.2 firmware file (NOT iOS 4.3.3 file).


4) Now select Install Cydia and click Next. Optionally (if available), you can also select any other option you like.


5) Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click Next. You will be prompted to put your iDevice in DFU mode. Follow the instructions as given in redsnow.

6) Now let redsnow do its work. Once done, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will restart automatically and you will find it jailbroken (tethered) on the latest iOS 4.3.3 firmware.

7) Now after jailbreaking, whenever you want to do anything related to jailbreak like SSHing into your device, or running Cydia, you must first run your device in the “jailbroken state” on every reboot by using Just boot tethered right now option in redsnow. When your iPhone finishes rebooting (5 minutes or so) it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.
