Since automatic over-the-air updates, one of the flagship features of iOS 5, could possibly break jailbreaks whenever a new version of the firmware is released, essentially making a stable jailbreak useless. However, a reliable jailbreak can also disable automatic updating feature.

Steve Jobs announced a minor upgrade to iTunes at WWDC 2011, iTunes 10.3. This version "iTunes in the Cloud" will allow users to take advantage of iCloud features. iTunes in the Cloud will allow users to have all their iOS content, including songs, apps, books and more synced across up to 10 iDevices of their own,  including both Mac and Windows computers, iPads and other iOS 4.3.3 devices. Users can also download any of their previous purchases for free, since all the download history is constantly synced as well.

Those with iDevices can AirPlay the video to an Apple TV for watching the keynote video. he quality of the video us better on the iPad (and using AirPlay) than when watching on a Mac. Strange indeed. As @Veeence, a jailbreak news aggregator tweeted that i0n1c has codenamed the iPad 2 jailbreak- “elevator“. Then i0n1c denied the fact that he had an iPad 2 jailbreak. Today i0n1c tweeted about his new website elevat0r.com. It looks like no more predictions about the most highly anticipated jailbreak because it might just be around soon.

TweakWeek : A New Cydia Tweak Everyday For 7 Days


Ryan Petrich, a well known jailbreak tweak developer, has recently tweeted a new initiative called TweakWeek. TweakWeek will be an ongoing initiative for Cydia developers to take part in. A new tweet from Veeence, a jailbreak news aggregator who claims that a fully working iPad 2 jailbreak tool is just 3 weeks away. Earlier, we told you that the iPad 2 jailbreak will not be called greenpoison. From the tweet, @P0sixninja seems told @Veeence about the released date. It looks like no more predictions. The real ETA may be less or more than that rough ETA.

In the video, this jailbreak tweak will soon unlock calling and SMS messages on your iPad. iPad 3G by itself allows internet connection on SIM but it doesn’t allow Call and SMS support. But it’s not the case anymore now iPhoneIslam has successfully hacked iPad 3G and enabled Call, SMS Text message and FaceTime on iPad 3G with the Cydia tweak- PhoneItiPad.
